How Blyndex Is Expanding into New Markets

We started in the Isle of Man. Now we work with clients across the UK, US, EU, and Australia. Here's how we got here and where we're going.

Blyndex didn't start with a plan to expand globally. It started with one person building things, then people asking for help, then more people joining, and eventually working with clients who happened to be in different countries.

We're based in the Isle of Man, but our team works remotely across multiple countries. Our clients are in the UK, US, EU, Australia, and beyond. This wasn't a strategic expansion. It just happened because we could work with anyone, anywhere.

Here's what we've learned about working across borders, time zones, and markets, and what's next for us.

How We Got Here

We'd been working on projects since 2016, but 2021 was when we came together to start building what would become Blyndex. It wasn't about business strategy or expansion plans. It was about passion. Building things because we loved it. Websites, apps, games, plugins. Anything that sounded interesting or challenging. That drive to create is what brought us together.

We established properly as a group online in 2022, landing our first big clients in the gaming industry. That's where our passion really showed. We were genuinely excited about the projects we were working on, and that excitement translated into quality work. We also entered new markets: websites, apps, and ecommerce, working heavily in the EU and UK. Our interest in different technologies and industries drove us to explore new areas. We weren't just taking any project. We were taking projects that excited us, that challenged us, that we actually wanted to work on.

The expansion happened naturally because we were passionate about the work. In 2023, we expanded to Australia and increased our American client base. When you're genuinely interested in what you're building, it shows. Clients in different countries found us because we were doing good work, not because we were trying to expand.

In 2024, we made a conscious decision to focus more on developing our own internal projects and working on things that genuinely excite us as a team. This meant building partnerships, creating our own games and applications, and doing work that we're actually passionate about. Not just client work. Our drive to create and innovate led us to invest in our own projects. We wanted to build things that mattered to us, not just things that paid the bills. That passion for creation is what keeps us going. It's what makes us want to push boundaries and try new things.

We established officially in 2025, and since then we've been developing our backend systems, building applications, and working on our own internal projects and games. Our interest in technology and innovation drives us to keep building, keep improving, keep creating. We're not just maintaining what we have. We're actively developing new systems, new projects, new ways of doing things.

This focus on passion didn't slow our expansion. It accelerated it. When you're working on things you care about, you do better work. Better work gets noticed. Better work leads to more opportunities, in more places. Our passion for creation, our drive to innovate, and our genuine interest in technology and business continue to guide where we go. We'll expand where interesting projects take us, where we can do work that matters, where we can build things we're excited about.

What We've Learned

Communication Is Everything

Working across time zones and cultures requires clear communication. We've learned to:

  • Be explicit about expectations and timelines
  • Use tools that make collaboration easy (Slack, shared documents, project management)
  • Schedule regular check-ins that work for everyone
  • Document everything so nothing gets lost in translation

Quality Travels

Good work speaks for itself, regardless of where it comes from. We've built our reputation on delivering quality work, and that reputation travels. Clients refer us to other clients. Word spreads. Good work gets noticed.

We don't need to be in the same city as our clients. We just need to deliver work that's worth talking about. That's how we've grown. One good project at a time, across different markets.

Where We're Going

We're not trying to be everywhere. We're trying to be good at what we do, wherever we do it. We'll keep working with clients who need quality digital solutions, regardless of where they are.

We're expanding our team to handle more projects. We're improving our processes to work better across time zones. We're building systems that scale with our growth.

But the core stays the same: do good work, charge fair prices, and treat every project like it matters. That works everywhere.

Bottom Line

We didn't plan to expand globally. It just happened because we could work with anyone, anywhere, and we delivered good work. Now we work with clients across multiple countries, and we're still growing.

The internet makes borders irrelevant for digital work. Good work travels. Quality speaks for itself. We'll keep expanding where it makes sense, but we'll never lose sight of what got us here: doing good work for fair prices.

Whether you're in the Isle of Man or Australia, if you need quality digital solutions, we can help. Location doesn't matter. Good work does.
